The Issue

A telecoms services provider needed to validate the components of a newly created managed service portfolio in multiple Asian markets.

The Response

Intercedent interviewed more than 40 CIOs throughout Asia to assess their drivers for selecting international telecoms services. Impressions of client’s performance and perceived capabilities were mapped to those of competitors. Intercedent then created questionnaires and other information templates to compare product capabilities and proposal responses of major competitors, analysing gaps and various value propositions.

The Result

The two sets of data—customer requirements and competitive capabilities—were then brought together to assist the client address competitive holes in its service offerings. Specifically, the client’s customer premise management program was expanded to ensure a more successful (and competitive) product launch.
