Intercedent has provided consulting and research in relation to a variety of minerals, including iron ore, gold, coal, magnesium, gypsum, phosphate and oil & gas.

Recent assignments include:

}         Assistance in sourcing capital investment from Chinese companies for a nickel project, a copper project and two iron ore projects in North America (Canada) and South America (Peru)

}         Sourcing of magnesium for foreign invested plant located in China. 

}         Advised a global MNC on “buy vs. build” options for securing access to certain mineral resources in Iran

}         A major consulting and research assignment for The Australian Coal Association project

}         Intercedent reviewed secure regional sourcing options for a proposed new Gypsum plant to be located in the Middle East

}         Government relations support for a major inbound investment in Phosphate mining

}         Government relations advice and the facilitation of permits pertaining to a gold mining project in China

}         Provision of corporate governance and government relations advice, while also working on operational issues related to establishing an exploration company for copper mining project in Xinjiang province

}         Investigated the supply and role of Magnesium Oxide (MgO) in China’s building materials market

}         Advised on creating the legal structure and participated in the negotiation for the amalgamation of a foreign-invested gold mining project in China
